The Invisible Chains

They sold us a dream, stitched tight with schemes and rules,Wake up early, move hurried, work hard, stay cool.

Behave long enough, stay in line, don’t question the plan

They’ll hand you freedom, postponed, delayed, when they can.

But freedom don’t knock where cages remain,It avoids that comfort disguised as routine and the same.

From childhood we’re molded, compressed into size,Curiosity clipped, curiosity crippled, obedience prized.

Questions get punished, responses erased, silence gets praise, Fit in the box, keep your head down, don’t sharpen your gaze.

School doesn’t teach you how to think or perceive,It teaches commands, compliance, not who profits from “me”.

According to the blueprint they scripted and sell, Work doesn’t reward the sharp or the aware who excel.

It favors the ones who bend, who endure, who comply,Who trade their time for something “secure” till they die.

Not by accident,Not by decay,By design, they insist,Built this way.

Dark psychology pulls back the screen, lifts the veil, Reveals how fear stays subtle, polite, and pale.

Comfort becomes control, belief becomes chain,Motivation quotes masking manufactured pain.

They don’t need chains, no guns, no threat in your face,They drown you in noise till you forget your own place. They don’t silence voices that’s reckless and loud.

They keep you distracted till you dissolve in the crowd. The deadliest prison constructed by designIs the one you defend, justify, and call “mine.”

Question the script and you’re branded “difficult,” hard

Think for yourself now you’re “odd” or “scarred.”But history bends, it ruptures, it grows,When someone refuses the roles they’re imposed.

Here’s the truth. let it cut deep, let it stay: Freedom’s not given to those who obey. It’s claimed by the aware, the alert, the awake,Who see through the game and refuse to partake.

The system doesn’t fear fire or fight,It fears clear minds cutting through night.People who see through illusion and lie,And choose not to kneel.

Not to comply. Real freedom begins when you stop asking, confined,“Where do I fit in this prewritten design?” And start asking the question they never defend: Who built this system? And who does it serve in the end? That question reshapes everything.
